In this course will explore Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes (TLC) which is the foundation of primary prevention of CVD. We’ll examine heart-healthy dietary habits—such as the Mediterranean and DASH diets—and explore other aspects of TLC, including exercise, tobacco cessation, stress management and behavior modifications. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to help your patients integrate TLC into their daily routines.

 

To be eligible for the nursing continuing education credit(s), the learner must complete each portion of this educational course. The continuing education credits are valid for this course from: 09/05/18-09/05/20.

All of the following educational activities must be completed: 

  • Watch a webinar (60 min)
  • Complete reflective questions and an evaluation (15 min)
